My Laundry List of Projects for the Home...

Happy Hump Day! So, I have made a huge laundry list of projects that I would like to accomplish sometime within the next year...or 5...or 10. ha. I have found so much inspiration since I have entered into the blog world. It is mind cannot keep up with all the things I want to do. So I made a list...and of course that might change, but for now it is simply a guideline of what I would like to accomplish.

So, here it goes....

*Add mirrors or a photo montage above table
The link above is what my current foyer looks like. It needs something!!
Any ideas?

Restoration Hardware

*New Light Fixture
The light fixtures are my what I am looking to hang in my foyer. Right now it is brass gold and dated. Hmm should I paint it? I also need a 20ft ladder to get it down...FML!
*Side Table/Buffet
(I love my little cabinet that is currently there now, but it is such a small scale for the space)

Dutchman's Designs

Something like this...but with this finish....

*Decorative Accents

Sitting Room:

ha this is the only picture I have of my sitting room from this past Christmas

Right now, our front room that connects with our dining room is a wasted space. We plan on turning it into an office at some point and close it off with french doors. I love the color and the window treatments in there right until then its on hold...but I envision a writing desk with a nice office chair and one or two decorative chairs..

Like these!

On to my dining room....

Dining Room:
Right now I have a beautiful buffet and rustic dining room table, chandelier and a few accent pieces too.
Currently, the curtains in this room are hideous! They are from the previous owners and they are just not my taste at all. I want either linen or a heavy drape for my windows. I also have a pair of lamps on my buffet that are very simple and the shades are plain white and they need texture and color or a pattern. So mundane. A new centerpiece would be fun too! ;-)

I love my kitchen (besides that it is small)! The color is Red Pepper from Behr Ultra. The cabinets are just a oak color and I am dying to try the rust-o-leum kit for cabinets. Anyone try this? I want a mahogany with some distressed/antique bronze hardware.

I am also trying to find the perfect valance for my one and only window in this space.
Otherwise, it is almost complete.

This room is one of the most neglected! I envision it bright and airy!
This is what I would like to do with this space...I've posted this before.

Living Room:
We definitely want a new sofa!! Ours is nice, but it is just so large and well if you have pets hair sticks to it. Ugh! It is a micofiber camel sectional sofa with a chaise. There is plenty of seating, but we were looking for LEATHER!
* New Pillow Covers for all of my throw pillows
*New Curtains ( I got new linen curtains from IKEA, they are espresso, I will reveal in another post)
* New Entertainment Center

Like this one from Carolina Farmhouse
* Some Large Art/Canvas above the TV
*Tray for our coffee table with a few accents
* Wood Floors!!! (I'm dreaming..some day I will get them)

Master Bedroom:
* New Paint (Slate from Restoration Hardware)
*Board and Batten (if my hubby will ever agree to it)
* New Duvet Cover (Off-White/Linen)
* Accent Pillows
*Charcoal Gray Quilt
*New Bedside Lamps
* New Bedroom Furniture/Matress

This was from my Master Bedroom: ReDesign post...this is one of the rooms that has gotten the most attention in the last month.

Guest Bedroom 1:
* Paint Walls Behr Ultra Atmospheric & Dark Truffle
*Repaint/Refinish Furniture
* New Lamps/Shades
*New Window Treatments

I like these from Etsy...but not sure of the fabric
I like this fabric for the windows...and my hubby may not disagree.

* Wall Decor
*Accents (Blue/Brown)
*Accent Pillows

Guest Bedroom 2:
*New Bedding
*Accent Pillows
*Repaint/Refinish Trunk
*New Lamp/Shades
* Window Treatment (Similar to the ones for Guest Bedroom 1)
* Paint (hmm a muted gray or creamy white)

Guest Bedroom 3 (former Office):
* Neutral Paint
*Future Nursery (so have no idea what I would want to do with it when the time comes)

Guest Bathroom:
*New Bath Linens
*Shower Curtain
*Repaint/Refinish Cabinets
* Frame for Mirror
*New Light Fixture
*New Bath Fixtures

Master Bathroom:
* Window treatment/valance (similar to guest bedroom 1)
*New Bath Fixtures
*Wall Art/Vinyl Art above bathtub
*Wall Shelving
*Light Fixture
*Chandelier over Tub

I picture this over my tub (the color of the wall is almost identical to the paint in my bathroom)
*Paint using Rejuvenate by Behr Ultra
*Paint/Refinish Cabinets
*New Hardware
Laundry Room:
*Beadboard/Board & Batten
* More Shelving/Storage/Cabinets
 *Baskets to hold Laundry Essentials
 * Art

These I found on
Powder Room:
* Paint/Refinish Cabinets
*New Frame for Mirror
*Light Fixture
*New Hardware
*New Fixtures
So...this is my list for every room in the house!! Quite Lengthy! This is what goes through my head all the time. It bounces from one room to the other. It can be very overwhelming! This is not including all the crafts I want to do. If any of you have any ideas to add or what I could do please give me some insight. Any tips to not get in over my head?
Well TaTa for now...
